Getting Started

brew install exiftool
exiftool photo.jpg
exiftool -DateTimeOriginal='2024:01:01 12:00:00' photo.jpg
exiftool -all= photo.jpg

The last command strips all metadata — handy before posting a photo online.

Install

Copy and run one of these commands locally to install ExifTool.

brew install exiftool
