Getting Started with macOS

Welcome to macOS! This guide will help you get up and running with your new Mac.

The Dock

The Dock is the bar of icons at the bottom of your screen. It gives you quick access to your favorite apps and currently open windows.

Spotlight Search

Press Command + Space to open Spotlight. You can use it to find apps, documents, and even search the web.

System Settings

Customize your Mac in System Settings (formerly System Preferences). You can change your wallpaper, adjust display settings, and manage your Apple ID.
